Oh yeah good point about bloatware! didn't think of that... I think i'll go for the Lenovo for the main room that'll have the hik cameras on. constant view, then maybe a Fire 8 for the passage near door, which will have a view of the doorbell (Ajax)..

@JB1970 What about teh constant power that would be required to the tablet, ie if i had it up on the wall, ive been reading not good ie battery can overheat etc? any way around that, as the only tablets that have POE are the Hik officail tablets it seems. I did read a article on here i think...

Hi All, Im looking to get a android tablet and install the hik connect app, to allow me to view 4 of the Hik Cameras on 2x2 constant display, baiscally like a monitor but portable and able to stick it on a wall - Any idea what would be a good one to go for at a reasonable price but not too over...

But you do not have the 6113 added to the hik connect app right, instead you have the indoor station added as I've done? I'm a bit lost as to what i'm missing or doing wrong, having done as advised :/

Also interesting, I made a call, answered, then under the notification tab, it doesnt show anything under call or event, the 3 dots keep cycling around and around, see attached

Hi MTV, I was advised to remove the doorbell from the app, instead the outdoor station (which the doorbell is linked to) needs to be the only device in the app. It does have enable and notifications set under Me -> Settings -> Noticiations, as for device settings on the app, there is no option...

Ok, so i've left it and now that I've removed the outdoor station from my mobile hikconnect app - see attachment, I rang the outdoor station and it showed on my phone as follows and the indoor station, only when I 'slide to answer' on my mobile it open the view with a video and accept or reject...
