I believe both camera and nvr has to support acuseek to work. I might be wrong. I believe the Camera sends realtime metadata so acuseek NVR can store those metadata and serach it later for fast display. What are you camera models?

Any authorized hikvision installer can reset password. Google them in your region. Usually they charge 20-30€ if its remotely done.

That would require buying from 2nd hand. As distributers have to enforce fair play policy by hikvision. No Selling outside their country.

well UK is tad different market than EU, we have already seen with HPP packages before.
