Hi Dan. HIK has uploaded the new 4.61.020 to the UK portal. 3 different versions and a mapping spreadsheet. Do they really want ppl to brick their NVRs???

Agreed, it's not really clear. But they don't list any G3 (non-C) firmware for most models for a while. But that doesn't mean that they don't exist anymore. Release notes might shed some light on the applicable models. Or as you said if it appears on the portal.

Kyle, v4.61.000_220507 has now appeared on the download portal. (same build date) . Including release note. But I guess the warning not to use this version still stands.

Hi Dan, looks like they fixed this in a later build of the same release. As they probably will claim they can't reproduce the reported problems (as some/all got fixed in build dated 0705).

I went back to the HIK website. and noticed that the file has changed. the original was labelled Firmware_V4.61.000_220428 the the file now is called Firmware_V4.61.000_220507 !! I compared the size of the unpacked digicap.dav files and they differ by about 20k and the file timestamp is 07/05...

Hi, Just noticed a new version 4.61.000 for the I Series NVRs on the HIK UK website. No changelog provided and not listed on the UK portal so far. Haven't tried yet...
