I have my DS-2CD2355FWD-I 's recording at a high quality. When I go to Playback under the web interface (IE11) the video seems to be fairly low quality, for example, I cannot identify a person's face about 2m in front of the camera at 8pm (dark). Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong? I presume...

I'll try IE11 again, pretty sure I just got the unknown plugin screen for the video displays though

Thanks for the reply. It's the Smart Event i'm using, i'll see if I have Expert mode under Basic. I am using h.265 so I guess that's the issue with the lines/regions. Which version of IE works? I tried 11 and it wouldn't load the plugin.

Hi all, I've just wired up a DS-7608NI-K2/8P and a few cameras around my house. The NVR seems to be very loud! It's stored in a converted garage so the sound is not a big problem but was wondering if the loudness was normal for this unit? It sounds tlike the fans are constantly on.
