There is a chance I did something wrong, but going by firmware issues with other devices I would suggest you leave this update for now. I upgraded my DS-PWA96-M-WE yesterday via a PC browser and whilst it appears to work flawlessly, I've since spent hours trying to fix everything. Issues...

I can only add the doorbell using RTSP. The standard HikVision protocol results in a Device Type Mismatch error :(
