when you say, "Inncorrect verifcation code" for the photo code number/letters do you mean Captcha? If its captcha , you can keep trying until you get the correct letters/numbers shown in the image. Are you trying to login to admin or secondary accout?

you can also try spraying the port with CC air compressor. there might be some debris, plastic, insect or something stuck in there. Check that all the pins/plates are cleaned and not bent.
