The specs for the unit don't mention voltage handling at the alarm outputs, but as there are no relays inside the unit, I would think they are low voltage. I certainly wouldn't want to connect 240v to them. As you say, some sort of relay switching unit would be required.

I would log on to the router, check lan connections to see if it is showing a connection for the MAC address of the camera. Also check router log files to see if any errors are reported.
