M Series NVR - Firmware V5.04.080 Build Date 251226

FYI..... I noticed M Series Firmware V5.04.080_251226_S3000694696.zip is now available on HIK's Resource pages for the respective M Series NVR(s).... well at least the Resource pages for the DS-7616NI-M2/16P.

Release Notes (about 10 pages) are also present. I haven't installed it yet, so I can't comment on what's fixed, what's broken. I never hold my breath on what gets fixed.

UPDATE: ok, I've installed the update on my DS-7616NI-M2. I can report that it did NOT brick my machine. Let the testing begin Cheers!

I also installed NVR Hikvision DS-7608NI-M2/8P.
There were no problems. Everything works.

Now there is also an exposure gain setting available on the NVR. A "smart" light setting is also available--to prevent overexposure.
I noticed it as a new detail.

Just an observation: NVR GUI --> Device --> Device Configuration --> Batch Configuration --> Batch Configure IP Address (Auto Allocate IP Address)

Is this new, with Firmware V5.04.080 Build Date 251226 ? (or was it there in earlier firmware releases & I never noticed? I don't use the NVR GUI very often.)

Note: doesn't seem to be available in Web GUI.

Yes, it was available if accessed directly from the NVR.
